My name is David Silverander. I’m a 3x COO in the ecommerce/CPG space and I’ve come to notice that the role of COO is widely under appreciated. Sure, people realize it’s an important job, but they tend not to understand what exactly COOs do or how wildly the job varies from one company to the next.
That’s COO is my effort to bring more appreciation and understanding to my amazing colleagues by sharing their stories in depth. For each issue, I interview a fellow COO and then write up their story and insights. It’s kind of like a podcast but you don’t have to use headphones or wade through a bunch of small talk.
